Funny that this should come up. This was the matchup that I was thinking of throughout watching "Body Snatchers". Now that I've seen it whole, I will be voting for Carnival of Souls quite easily.

Carnival of Souls is ok but enough with the Organ music already and the bad acting the stupid character choices its fun but Body Snatchers is amazing truly scary idea that you fall a sleep and never truly wake up and that everyone you know and love turn into a mindless herd a great analogy of conformity and totalitarianism I do think the remake was better but The original is so revolutionary and a classic it wins easy.
