Gee. I dunno. Monsters University has a bigger heart (or, rather, a more effective), but Arthur Christmas is so good-hearted, and has such a wicked, British sense of humor. Of course, that's not to say that MU isn't a very funny film; it too has some great gags. I guess Arthur Christmas wins for its good-heartedness, but my mind will likely change over time.

As good as Arthur Christmas is, I'll take Monsters University. Both are very earnest movies (something not seen enough in the animation genre). I really like both of these!
