It's interesting to compare these two considering the similarity between the two story lines.

mulan wins. but only because it isn't as presumptuous movie as avatar
Avatar gets so much praise because of its great special effects but the story line is not original and predictable. Mulan was one of the first Disney princess films that had the princess actually fighting and not just waiting for prince charming. It has the perfect balance of comedy and romance making it a great children's film I love it so I pick Mulan.
