Might be blinded by my boner for my favorite director, but I don't get the hate for this one. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and had a blast seeing it with family. Loads better than Suicide Squad or Justice League.

The distant second best DCEU flick after Wonder Woman. Big and fun, with some truly imaginative sets and creature designs. It best feature is that it isn't as pompous and glum as some of the other flicks in the franchise.

2018 movie #36: Aquaman. It’s visually appealing and the action is nice but my main complaint is that the movie is just another superhero movie. Bland, exposition-heavy and pretty dumb. Hell, I actually found myself routing for the villain. He had real motivations. Human beings are ruining the ocean, he clearly wants the movie to mean something. Aquaman, on the otherhand, spent the entire film being disinterested and wanting to go home. How can I route for him? 5/10.

I really enjoyed the film big underwater action real underwater acting with Mera being a great character and the film just rocks! yeah it can get dumb at times and its not a great movie but a enjoyable blockbuster flick! 6.5/10

This is incredibly silly yet incredibly entertaining, charming, colourful and fun at the same time. Would recommend.

It’s nothing groundbreaking or highly original, but it is a movie that embraces its weirdness in a way I really appreciated.

It's not the most original movie, but it's a fun and weird movie. It has a certain charm to it. Not without its flaws, but I would still recommend watching this movie
