Liked the Martian a lot. Damon delivers a career best performance (might even get an Oscar nod?) and the cast is stellar (pun intended). Likes the science-y aspects of the film and the script also has quite a bit of heart. 8/10

Was SUPER frightened that Ridley Scott would kill the book's humor with his trademark slow lingering shots of the environment, but fortunately he keeps up the pace and maintains the book's humor.Bake a potato, grab a bottle of ketchup, pour yourself some grape juice, and give it a watch!

I'm currently writing a scientific work about the planet Mars. Considering that I'm also a Ridley Scott fan, it should be no surprise that I absolutely loved this film.
