Way too over hyped, which I knew going into the theater. Nothing Special, I was more excited watching the end credit scene than the final fight.

WAY BETTER than similar Asian inspired comic book movies like the also recent G.I. Joe Snake Eyes movie. And even better than previous Marvel outting, Black Widow. I was entertained and pleased throughout. I loved the blending between American Superhero genre and the fantasy, wuxia, Chinese lore. Felt equal parts American AND Chinese blockbusters and new enough for Marvel without losing it's signature flair in the process. Very happy with this entry as I can see myself continually viewing it without losing it's flavor. Certainly a good step out of the Infinity Era and into what's next. More optimistic about The Eternals now, knowing Marvel hasn't really lost it's edge just yet.

Shang-Chi is so MEH that it and the character doesn't register. So generic and so uninteresting. The ONLY reason this movie exits is because of "diversity" and that is never a good enough reason to solely craft a film based on shallow traits.
